To our Facility Community,
I am so grateful to all of our residents and families for their support over these last few years. There have been many changes in the facility, due to Covid, and we appreciate all your patience. At this time, I don’t have much to update you on, but I continue to urge you to consider your options regarding boosters, and to remember to stay home when you are not feeling well.
We encourage you to talk to your doctor about the second booster, your eligibility, and their recommendations. We want to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible during the current surge. Please also remember that other flu and cold bugs are making the rounds in the community, so please use those infection control procedures we learned during the height of COVID to stay healthy at home. If you do have cold symptoms of any type, please stay home and feel better.
I would also like to remind you that while mask mandates have been relaxed, those changes do not apply to health care settings. All staff and visitors are required to wear masks and continue to practice good infection control practices both at home and while in our community. If you have any questions about our COVID status or current visiting recommendations, please call for additional information.
We continue to work very hard to protect our residents; staff take all necessary precautions to prevent COVID-19 and we encourage all community members to do the same.
We will keep you up-to-date with all developments. On behalf of our residents and staff, please stay safe.
Thank you,
Amie Behrens
