On Friday June 17th Generations at Rock Island was proud to be a silver sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association Moments Remembered at the Quad City Botanical Center.
Moments Remembered is designed for those with Alzheimer’s or related dementias. Often after losing words, people battling this condition can still express thoughts, emotions, feelings and more through painting. This is a great opportunity for our painters to show who they are and the joyous memories they remember and want to share.
Generations at Rock Island donated the resident’s paintings to the Alzheimer’s association to be auctioned off and proceeds donated to the cause. Guests also enjoyed live music from Ellis Kell, wine tasting from Creekside Vinyards, appetizers and desserts. We are proud to support the Alzheimer’s association and are grateful for the tireless work they do to find a cure!
